Episode Review: Treehouse of Horror II

From the outset of the episode, Homer is watching good news on Halloween night while eating candy. Marge along with the kids return home after trick-or-treating with a big haul of sweet. Despite warnings from Marge that will eating the candy may cause nightmares, Homer, Lisa, and Bart eat through the large candy pile. In which night, all three try and sleep, and Lisa is the first to get a nightmare.
Lisa's Nightmare

From the first of three pieces, the Simpsons visit Morocco. Homer purchases a severed monkey's hand that could grant four wishes, rapidly vendor's warning that the wisher will meet with grave misfortune. Back with Springfield, Maggie is awarded that first wish: a new pacifier. Next, Bart wishes with the Simpsons to be abundant and famous. His wish is granted, but folks quickly tire of the particular family's annoying antics, corny merchandise and celebrity treatment. Horrified by these wasteful wishes, Lisa wishes for world peace, and all nations around the world declare peace and kill their weapons. Homer's Nightmare
