Episode Review: Homer at the Bat

It really is softball season in Springfield and many of the workers at Springfield Nuclear Power Plant are reluctant to subscribe for the Power Plant team due to their previous unsuccessful year. Homer reveals that he has a secret artillery, a homemade bat referred to as "Wonder Bat" and his or her co-workers eagerly join this team. Burns is forced to utilize his original employees, together with Strawberry, the only star that can play. Homer remains about the bench as Strawberry performs his position.

With the score tied and bases packed with two outs in the underside of the ninth inning, Uses up elects to field some sort of right-handed hitter against some sort of left-handed pitcher and little hits Homer for Strawberry.
