Mr. Plow Episode Review:

It's snowing heavily in Springfield, so Marge calls Homer at Moe's Tavern and tells him to come house. Homer drives by means of a snowstorm, but when his view is obscured by the snow he crashes into yet another Automobile - which turns in the market to function as family's other Car, still parked inside the driveway. Now with out transportation, Homer begins trying to find a brand new Vehicle. Following numerous unsuccessful attempts, the family members go to a Vehicle show. Following an unsettling encounter with Adam West, a salesman talks Homer into getting a snowplow. Homer agrees on the basis that he can make the payments by plowing people’s driveways. Homer starts his snow plow enterprise, titled "Mr. Plow", but he's trouble locating any customers. His advertising campaigns are unsuccessful until Lisa suggests an advertisement on public television. The resulting commercial and jingle attracts plenty of consumers and the enterprise is really a booming success. Homer is given the key towards the city in recognition of his plan to town. Barney Gumble, envious of Homer’s achievements, asks how he can be a success at the same time. Homer advises him venture out and stay the very best Barney he is able to be. The next day it really is revealed that Barney has purchased a straight larger plow, and has began a rival company under the title of "Plow King". Barney creates his or her own commercial, which defames and slanders Homer (hiring Linda Ronstadt to sing the lyrics). Homer loses all his consumers to Barney, and Mayor Quimby revokes the important thing towards the city from Homer and provide it to Barney.

To have revenge and regain his consumers, Homer tricks Barney into plowing a driveway on Widow’s Peak, a large treacherous mountain beyond town. Homer begins to plow driveways Again, but sees a news report showing that Barney continues to be trapped in a avalanche. Homer right away drives towards the mountain and rescues Barney. The friends resolve their differences and accept work together within the plow business, claiming that "When two best friends work together not even God himself can stop them!". Angered, God sarcastically says "Oh, no?" and promptly retaliates by causing a heat wave, melting all of the snow and effectively putting both of them out of company. Because Homer can no longer make the snow plow payments his plow is soon repossessed, and points come back to normal.
